Acarkent Villa Project
In this villa project located in Acarkent, the landscape establishes a balanced contrast with the architectural language of simple, monolithic forms. The red wall, positioned at the center of the garden, acts as a strong contrasting surface and a spatial focal point, while being framed by natural stone, wood, and dense planting to create a controlled tension.

The most defining layer of the project is its holistic lighting design, conceived to ensure continuity between day and night. While the spatial composition is perceived as clean and precise under natural daylight, it acquires a second identity after dusk. Concrete spheres, positioned as sculptural elements, produce a calm presence during the day; at night, they are accentuated from below with ground spotlights, creating strong shadow effects. This interplay of light and shadow contrasts with the linear ground texture, adding depth to the garden.
Warm linear lighting concealed behind the red wall transforms the surface into a dramatic backdrop, reinforcing the spatial focal point. Uplighting beneath trees and concealed LED details integrated into steps emphasize the volumetric quality of planting while ensuring that level differences remain safe and legible. Terraces and circulation axes are connected through controlled lighting levels, forming a cohesive night scenario. As a result, the garden evolves into an active and atmospheric living space that extends well beyond daylight hours.
