Bursa Modern
Bursa Modern Campus consists of five different types of residences, a nursery, and social facilities located around a pond. Thanks to Bursa's advantageous microclimate, a landscape designed to be vibrant year-round is aimed for through a green system implemented across all surfaces. Social and recreational areas catering to all age groups have been addressed with a holistic design language. The pond, the main focal point, serves as the visual and functional center of social life. Thematic and pocket gardens are integrated into the overall design, ensuring a balanced distribution of spaces for children, youth, and the elderly. Seasonal variety in color, texture, and scent is prioritized in the plant design.

The project is structured around five main life characteristics: boundaries, dynamic areas, pond and shoreline, gardens, and social activity areas. The landscape design emphasizes transitions between different scenes, thematic diversity, and dynamism. The social activity axis begins and ends with sports; an organized sports zone has been created including mini-football, basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts. This area is accessed via a visually continuous connection. A wooden path, accompanied by a thin band of water on one side and colorful plant life on the other, guides the user to the entrance; it also reinforces the perception of the thematic gardens.
