International Oncology Hospital
The Entrance and Life Cycle Metaphor: The main entrance axis and its surroundings of the hospital are structured around a "Life Cycle" symbolizing the existential struggle of humanity: The Oncology Hospital landscape project is designed to maximize the contact between patients and staff with nature through "spatialized green spaces". The "Healing with Nature and Plants" approach, which forms the basis of the concept, is structured in three main layers:
Sensory Design: Calming shades of green reinforce a sense of security, while plant compositions in shades of blue, pink, and yellow have been chosen to trigger positive emotions such as vitality and a zest for life in users.
Functional Spaces: The design presents a gradual activity scheme that transforms the user from a passive user (observing from the window) to an active user (light exercise and walking). The courtyards, described as "Gardens Opening to the Sky," serve as breathing spaces and points of security amidst the hospital's density.
Life Cycle Metaphor: The ornate trees used along the main entrance axis represent resilience and the will to live, while the seasonal flowers symbolize the dynamism and struggle in every moment of life.

Gardens Opening to the Sky
In our hospital project, we designed the courtyards not merely as physical spaces, but as "Healing Rooms" that connect the sky and the earth. By reinterpreting the classic courtyard typology with a modern approach, we created breathing spaces and points of safety within the hospital's density. Natural light, plant life, and a controlled spatial arrangement offer a safe, private, and peaceful healing atmosphere for patients. These courtyards are:
• Controlled – a reassuring arrangement
• Private – a personal sanctuary away from the crowds; areas for prayer
• Peaceful – resting places where nature meets mental tranquility
We are delighted to design calm and protective spaces, far from the chaos, for our guests undergoing treatment.
