Meset Valley Houses
The landscape design is built upon an uninterrupted continuity with Çekmeköy's natural forest texture and characteristic topography. Here, the landscape transcends being a passive green backdrop surrounding the buildings, becoming the main spatial backbone guiding settlement decisions. In this design, where the transitions between hard surfaces and plant life are resolved with conscious softening, the shared language of natural stone and wood defines a holistic environmental identity on the ground. Gradual transitions between semi-public and semi-private spaces create a flow that directs the user's rhythm through organic axes. Thus, the landscape is not only an aesthetic framework but also an active and living infrastructure that shapes daily life.

This open-space design offers a layered universe of experience through a synthesis of ground texture, land morphology, and plant composition. The water wall and natural stone elements at the entrance define a monolithic and inviting identity that characterizes the space. In the design, existing elevation differences are not an obstacle but a spatial richness, giving rise to climbing walls and fluid play surfaces. This dynamic composition, integrated with the topography, is an active landscape instrument that invites the user to movement and exploration. The transparent security offered by the wooden boundaries does not interrupt the visual continuity, while the chosen plant composition adds tranquility and timeless depth to the space.
